AP® Chemistry Series with Balance (with glassware) SKU: AP 16130B
The Kemtec AP® Chemistry Series includes 16 labs designed to meet the essential laboratory requirements of an AP Chemistry course
Students will develop a knowledge of the processes performed at a water treatment plant and understand the reasons for each process. They will perform, on a small-scale, several of the procedures that occur in a water treatment plant on “polluted” water.

They will examine the changes in the water after each treatment step is performed. They will also observe physical characteristics of water, such as clarity, color, odor, and how they are affected from the beginning of the treatment process until the end. Kit contains enough materials for 15 groups of students. Teacher’s Manual and Student Study Guide copymasters are included.

Elements, Compounds, and Mixtures I focuses on solubility based separation methods: evaporation, distillation, filtration, and crystallization
In this activity, students will perform paper chromatography on three individual dyes, along with a mixture of dyes, to determine the composition of the mixture.
Introduce students to Chemical Equations as they perform and observe two different single replacement reactions and two different double replacement reactions.
Students will test a series of microscale chemical combinations to learn how to identify if a chemical reaction has occurred. Aligned to the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS)*
Includes ten experiments exploring the characteristics of matter: Properties of Matter, States of Matter, Physical Properties of Solids, Physical Properties of Liquids, Melting Point, Boiling...
Kit contains enough materials for 15 groups. This kit will introduce two common types of chemical reactions; single replacement and double replacement.
Students test the chemical properties of seven different solutions in every combination and identify chemical properties by observing the reactions.
