HOW TO ORDER
Orders can be placed online using a Purchase Order or Credit Card. Purchase orders only accepted by verified schools/institutions. All other orders can be emailed to email@example.com. You can also call to place orders, 800-228-7117. Be sure to indicate clearly the billing and shipping addresses, including zip codes, telephone number and email address. The order must include an official signature, specify quantity, catalog number, name of item, size and date of arrival.
Prices are effective immediately and supersede all previous price lists. It is our intention to maintain these prices throughout the year, but they are subject to change without notice.
Most items have quantity discounts. If you would like a written quote for special pricing please call, 800-228-7117. Orders of less than $10.00 (not including freight) shall be assessed a service charge of $3.00. Each individual shipment will be treated as a separate order.
SHIPPING TO INDIVIDUALS
Nebraska Scientific will ship non-hazardous products to an individual. Bacterial & fungal cultures, chemicals, are sold/shipped only to institutions; they will not be sent to individuals. For questions and inquiries please feel free to call. All individual orders MUST be prepaid, including freight charges, before items are actually shipped. Call to determine shipping charges. We accept American Express, Discover, Mastercard and Visa credit cards.
All prices are F.O.B. shipping point. Transportation is extra and will be added to your invoice.
Most preserved specimens are packed in plastic vacuum sealed storage bags and shipped in boxes, which is the most convenient and least expensive method for shipping. All prices include standard packaging. Other packaging, such as coolers, pails, jars or drums are available at a nominal cost. Call for pricing if you have special packaging requirements.
All orders will be shipped promptly unless specific delivery dates are indicated. Allow two weeks notice on orders. In an emergency, call us and we will make exceptions when possible. Delivery dates for living materials must always be given.
Our terms are net 30 days from date of shipping. An interest charge of 1½% per month will be applied to any overdue account.
Live cultures are generally sent by Priority Mail or UPS 2nd day delivery. Live frogs and turtles are sent by air freight. Smaller shipments of preserved materials will be sent by UPS or United States Postal Service, large shipments by motor freight. UPS and motor freight deliveries cannot be made to a Post Office box - a street address is required. Unless specific shipping instructions are given, we will ship by the most economical way.
We request prompt notification of damaged or unsatisfactory shipments. Any live specimens found to be unsatisfactory will be replaced or credit given if we are notified within 2 days of receipt. All other items excluding live specimens found to be unsatisfactory will be given credit or replacements if notified within 30-days of receipt. In order for you to receive credit or get replacements of preserved materials and supplies, we must be notified within 7 days of receipt of any shortages or damage in shipment. If the shipment was delivered by UPS, FedEx ground or truck, please get an inspection report from the carrier and send this to us, with your letter, to enable us to file a claim for the damage.
Authorization is required before any items may be returned. Call our customer service to request return authorization within 30 days of invoice date. Restocking fees may apply.
