Ball & Card Inertia Apparatus

The Ball and Card Inertia Apparatus is a fun and educational tool to help students understand the effects of inertia. The ball is placed on top of an acrylic square, which is then placed on top of the post. A metal bar acts like a spring, which is pulled tight and then released, shooting the acrylic square out from under the ball. The ball will remain on the post, similar to the pulling a table cloth out from under a set of dishes works. The Ball and Card Apparatus includes instructions.
