Learn about chromosome function and structure by constructing models using colored pop beads. Students will then use these "chromosomes" to models each stage of mitosis. In the process they'll gain a better understandng of what happens during cell division. Addidtionally, they'll learn to distinguish between plant and animal mitosis.
