Nebraska
Scientific's preserved specimens are the choice of educators across the
nation. Our mid-west location, in the
heart of the packing industry, allows us to collect and process stockyard
specimens on a daily basis. When you
are shopping for fetal
pigs and sheep,
beef
and pig
organs, frogs,
invertebrates
or other specimens, look no further than Nebraska Scientific. Utilizing over 47 years of experience and
expertise, Nebraska Scientific is continually upgrading our preservation,
injection, and packaging techniques.
This gives you the best specimen on the market at the fairest price. If you are looking for an alternative to
formaldehyde, we have several specimens in a formaldehyde substitute.
Specimens procured by Nebraska Scientific are obtained
in accordance with all federal, state and local regulations. All specimens preserved in our standard
preservative have a six-month guarantee.
Most orders will be delivered within 10-14 days after receipt of your
order, depending on your location. All
specimens are packaged at the time of your order, allowing you to order the
quantities you need. Most specimens are
sealed in a plastic bag and boxed for easy delivery and lower shipping
costs. Items can be shipped in pails or
other containers, per your request. We
also offer a complete line of dissection
manuals, dissection
instruments, laboratory
supplies, videos,
DVDs,
computer software and CD-ROMs
to supplement your dissection lab.

Choice of plain, single, double or TRIPLE INJECTIONS
Many specimens are available in
several sizes and injections.
Our plain specimens are preserved using our formalin preservative, then
soaked in our Nebanol "no-smell" holding solution. These "plain" specimens do not have any latex injections.
Our single injected specimens add to our
plain specimen a red latex injected into the arterial system. Red vessels would be arteries.
Our double injected specimens add to our
single specimen a blue latex injected into the venous system. Blue vessels would be veins.
Our triple injected specimens add to our double specimen a yellow latex
injected into the hepatic portal system.
